THE RULES
- Castles may now be built out of stone by monarchs and highest nobles
- Easel and piano available
- Vikings may invade at random (especially if you need some new blood)
- Vampires and lycans clan up and start infecting or killing people as they see fit, as they are no longer being given slaves
- Witches and all supes considered ‘superstition’, may practice quietly (disease and miscarriage = death of nearest witch)
- Monarchs, Lord’s, and knights may attempt to gain fame and wealth through seasonal quests
- Monarchs, lords, and knights are busy – may not have time for more than 1 try for baby / 2 seasons after heir
- Vassels are weary – 1 try per season, must be successful every spring
- Serfs, townspeople, and slaves need love – try nightly except during the harvest
- Cats may be purchased by vassels and up, but not knights (no time)
- Hunting dogs may be owned by high nobles and wealthy knights
- Community businesses may be noble-owned, must pay % to monarch
- Plantsims & Aliens ignored and disappearing from society (move into forest away from fiefs)
CAMPAIGNS and QUESTS
Monarch
1. Peace – ally with another monarchy through gifts and an arranged marriage (make friends during wedding)
2. Growth – add to your town a public building ($ from king’s treasury)
3. War – attempt to conquer another monarch or lord
may only be done if knights are available and they have enemies
4. Census and taxes – a tithe on all peoples
5. Royal wedding – to a local noble
6. Celebrate! – throw a party, during which the king gets drunk and seduces the queen (try for baby)
Note: The king is sovereign and does what he likes. Should he father illegitimate children, however, his wife will kick the mother and child out of the palace. She may return to her family or marry a townsperson or other peasant. The incident will likely also spur the queen into wanting another heir, just to prove she deserves her current position.
High Lord
1. Peace – offer a gift or daughter to another baron or to the king (relationship gain during wedding)
2. Growth – add another farm holding and give to the car of a new vassals (wealthy townspeople, nobles in household, or vassals' sons)
3. War – attempt to overtake another baron or the monarch
must have knights and a castle and low relationship with the enemy
if bffs with another baron, may enlist his aid, improving successful chances
if unsuccessful, all adult males are killed, others sold into slavery, belongings go to enemy, and enemy takes land/gives to their vassal
4. Build a castle -must have the money to do so, may begin construction and work slowly
5. Celebrate! Throw a party and make friends, afterwards try for baby with wife
6. Feeling romantic – seduce a maid, serf or slave
Note: High Lords wives will likely also kick out illegitimates, but if she’s produced no heirs they may be kept and become the heir. Increases chances of being attacked by other barons or having the vassals rise up against the high lord
+Knight
1. Quest for treasure! Gain +1 body and possible treasure
travel to ruins and dig for treasure in 3 places (drop rocks, bones may be saved for dogs)
2. Save a damsel! Must have 5+ body, gain +1 body if successful*
if any princesses or noble ladies are caught cheating/preggers or unwanted by their family (excessive daughters), they may be visited and romanced
ladies kidnapped by vamps/lycans and Vikings may also be rescued
if already married, the knight may simply restore her or give her in marriage to a son. If the daughter of king or baron or lord, she comes with a dowry
*if below 8 body, rolling 1 is fatal, 2 is injured into retirement, 3-4 failed, 5-6 successful,
*8+ rolling 1 injured, 2 failed, 3 injured but succesful, 5-6 successful; if at 10 only a 1 is failed (and you probably just decided she was ugly)
3. Slay a beast +1 body (rules of success as stated above, replacing 8 with 5)
if at 10 body, instead slay a vampire/lycan and be paid 1k for your troubles
4. Diplomacy – make friends with knights or do a quest for your lord (if his daughter was kidnapped or he wants a wife)
5. At ready – train +1 body and await instructions from your lord

+Viking
1. Raid -attack the town, killing people at random and generally destroying everything
2. Pillage -raid a vassels land, optionally killing the men but mostly just stealing valuables
3. Plunder -raid a nobles land, doing your very best to make off with his daughter and other valuables
4. Hostile takeover -attempt to conquer the monarchs castle
roll for success and casualties
5. Seduce -take a wife from among noble daughters (may not be rescued)
